Toy Story Land is OPEN, y’all!
And it’s as awesome as we dreamed it would be! And if you’re one of the many, MANY people who are going to go for a Slinky Dog Dash and an Alien Swirling Saucer, you’re going to need to recharge your batteries at some point, as we TOYS say!
Enter Woody’s Lunch Box! This brand spankin’ new quick service spot is ca-razy fun, with clever details everywhere you look!
You know we had to get into that lunch and dinner menu ASAP — and we tried EVERYTHING on the menu! But unless you’ve got a bottomless stomach (or several TSL visits planned!), you’ll need to narrow that menu down to the MUST EATS. So here ya go, cowboys and cowgirls! The Five Things You HAVE to Eat in Toy Story Land!
1. Grown Up Grilled Cheese
You might be shrunk down to the size of a toy in Toy Story Land, but you’ve still got a grown up appetite. And you want to fill it with cheese. Hey — we’re right there with you! You’ve gotta order the Grilled Three-Cheese Sandwich.
This gorgeousness combines cheddar and provolone cheeses with cheddar cream cheese (CHEDDAR. CREAM. CHEESE.) for that triple threat — plus it’s grilled with garlic butter. Holla at that grilled cheese, fellow toys!
2. Lunch Box Tarts
Yeah, these are basically fancy-fied Pop Tarts, and they’re every bit as irresistible as the packaged variety we all grew up noshing. At Woody’s Lunch Box, Lunch Box Tarts are available for breakfast, lunch, and dinner — and they come in two mouth-watering flavors: Raspberry and Chocolate Hazelnut.
Peep that golden brown pastry, those crispy pearls, and that candied bacon — and then pop that tart straight into your mouth. We don’t have a preference for one over the other, so we say get one of each!
3. S’mores Breakfast Sandwich
Woody is known for his grilled sandwiches, and breakfast is a chance for our favorite cowboy to really lasso his creativity. And that means a S’mores Breakfast Sandwich!
This breakfast sugar bomb is a marshmallow and chocolate ganache slathered on brioche (basically French toast style!) and encrusted with graham cracker crumbs. Yep, it’s as funky and delicious as it sounds!
You’ll want to focus on the French toast-style brioche when you tell your friends about this one… otherwise they’ll think you’re having dessert for breakfast (which you totally are). 😉
4. Adult Lemonade
If you find yourself in need of adult beverage fortification before hopping into the expectedly massive queues for Toy Story Land’s new attractions, order the Grown Up’s Lemonade! This combo of Odwalla lemonade, black cherry puree, and Three Olives Cherry Vodka is both delicious and refreshing!
This is Woody’s signature drink, and we think it’s a winner!
5. Totchos
Yeah, this food combo is pretty awesome: tater tots and nachos. Totchos! If you enjoy a cup of Disney chili, you’ll definitely want to dig into these! Tater tots are drowned in chili, then covered in cheddar cheese, signature queso (!!), sour cream, and scallions. Oh, AND DON’T FORGET THE FRITOS!!! This is one dish that’ll fill you up fast — so think about sharing if you’re also getting a Lunch Box Tart (which you are — two, actually).
Seriously. Eat these.
It’s time to get shrunk and get your little toy self over to Woody’s Lunch Box! Then, order these five items, slap your rear down on some Babybel cheese, and recharge!
You are a toy — and it’s the best Disney life you’ve lived so far!
I really don’t get the obsession with cheese at WDW. I can’t stand it and often when looking at menus I think something sounds nice then I see the c word.
On a recent trip, I loved the Grown Ups Lemonade, and the ingredients are readily known… but I can’t seem to find the specific recipe. Does anyone have that handy?
Two things: To Andrea, Cheese is nature’s most perfect food. Also the BBQ Brisket Melt is no slouch.
This whole area makes me feel GIDDY for our trip in 1 week!!!
My grilled cheese was so cold by the time we found a seat that it was completely gross. Also my tart was just too soft for my liking. Next time I will find a seat and then push the button for my mobile order and try the totchos and lemonade.
Had grilled cheese and beef brisket sandwiches 2 weeks ago and they were both awful. So greasy to the point that you couldn’t taste anything else. Would not go back.
Everytime we eat here our foods cold. Maybe if we could get it hit it would taste good, but we won’t eat here again.
