for the soft opening of DCA Food and Wine, but that doesn’t mean we’re passing on this new snack combo we discovered at a snack cart in DCA! Today was the first day for Orange Vanilla Coke and Honey-Mustard Chicken Wings!
We’ve seen ads for Orange Vanilla Coke recently, and it was the first day this beverage arrived in DCA, so you know I had to try it. Vanilla Coke has been a thing for a long time, and we know lots of folks enjoy it. Orange Vanilla is essentially that creamy Coke flavor with a hint of citrus.
If you’re a cream soda or Vanilla Coke fan, you’ll enjoy this one! It wasn’t my favorite soft drink ever, but it’s not bad!
At the same snack cart we discovered Honey-Mustard Chicken Wings, available for the first time today. These are a quartet of wings fried so they’re a little crispy and coated with honey-mustard flavor.
There’s very little sauce to these. But that flavor is good! Slightly sweet and with plenty of mustard seed and dijon. I’d get these again if I was hungry and trying to stick to some solid proteins. (They’re decent for those eating keto because they’re fairly low in carbohydrates and still have a bit of fat from the skin.)
But listen, there’s a LOT to eat at Disney California Adventure Park right now, so you’ll want to peruse the menus before you hit the park so you can decide if an extra stop for chicken wings is really required. 😉
Would you be into the Orange Vanilla Coke or the Honey-Mustard Wings? Let us know in the comments!
