A few months ago, we told you that Bongos Cuban Cafe, located in the West Side of Disney Springs, would close its doors this August. Well, friends, it looks like the dining location may close in less than a week.
According to Disney World’s website, it appears that Bongos’ last day of operation might be Sunday, August 18th.
As you can see in the screenshots from Disney World’s website, restaurant hours are listed for the next several days, but we couldn’t view any future dates past August 18th.
Disney has not yet made an official announcement on Bongos’ actual closing date, so we’ll keep you posted as we learn more!
Bongos has been open since 1997, so it will certainly be missed. But on the bright side, we’re looking forward to the new locations coming soon to Disney Springs, including Beatrix, “Cookie Dough and Everything Sweet”, and Sunshine Churro carts.

I have reservations for Bongos on October 19th! I booked through the app months ago! And it’s still showing our reservation as active.
Mary, you may want to call Disney dining to speak to someone about your reservation.
I love Bongos. Any reason on why they are closing? They were always packed on the few occasions I was there. Sad to hear this.
