Worried about missing your flight to Disney World because of Hurricane Dorian?
Worry no more! With the recent shift of the hurricane away from the coast of Florida, Orlando Airport is opening its doors once again.
Previously, airport officials announced that they would be shutting down the airport at 2 AM on Monday morning in concern of the heavy winds and rain from the hurricane.
However, according to Orlando Sentinel, Orlando International Airport will now be open again on Monday since the hurricane has changed its course slightly. They will continue to monitor the storm to ensure passengers’ safety and make any updates that are needed.

Are you catching a flight to Disney World this week? Let us know in the comments below!
I wouldn’t get all excited about this Just Yet. I don’t know where you’re getting your info that it has shifted east, because All’s I’M seeing is that it shifted east and has 185mph winds Moving at 7mph.
I’m Sorry. Shifted WEST!
As of Monday afternoon, many airlines have cancelled flights for Tuesday and into Wednesday. People need to check with their carrier for updates.
May I suggest putting dates on all of your blog posts, like up at the top and on the captions of the pictures? There is no date anywhere and we all know how often things change at Disney and just by looking at a post I cannot tell if it’s relevant or not.
Hi, Carrie. I have shared this with the team. Dates are in the URLs.
