Dessert parties and fireworks in Magic Kingdom? Yeah, we’re ALL over that.
And, now the grown-ups can enjoy their visit to the Most Magical Place on Earth even more with the newest boozy addition to the park (yes, pls).
Starting February 1st (along with the price increases, sigh), All 3 Magic Kingdom Fireworks Parties — The Fireworks Dessert Party at Tomorrowland Terrace, the After Fireworks Dessert Party, and the Fireworks Dessert Party with Plaza Viewing — will start serving BOOZE!
Um, yeah, you read that right! Guests ages 21 years and over can choose from a selection of beer and wine while they snack on all the eats and treats at the party. Sooo, the booze might be worth the new price tag on the adult admission (a $15 increase to $99 for the Tomorrowland Terrace Dessert Party, a $10 increase to $79 for the Plaza Garden View Party, and a $20 increase to $89 for the After Fireworks Party!), since you can easily pay that difference in the price of an alcoholic drink or two in the park!
Note that we noticed that the regular Dessert Party and After-Fireworks dessert party mentions the new alcohol policy on the website pages for the events. The Plaza Garden Viewing option does not. We called and spoke with a Cast Member who said, as far as the system showed on their end, that all three Dessert Parties, including the Plaza Garden Viewing option, were listed as including alcohol. If you’re still uneasy booking the Plaza Garden Viewing option though without seeing it there on the website, give Disney a call to put your mind at ease before booking.
If you want to spend the night snacking on themed desserts, building your own cookies and cupcakes, and sipping on some great drinks, you can check out the details and book tickets for the Magic Kingdom Fireworks Dessert Party here, the Plaza Garden View Dessert Party here, and the After-Fireworks Dessert Party here!
