We just can’t get enough of Hollywood Studios right now, and clearly, neither can anyone else!
We just spotted ANOTHER extension to Hollywood Studios morning hours for the month of March. That means you’re going to have to get up pretty early if you want to claim a Boarding Group to get on Rise of the Resistance in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. It also means you’ll have even more opportunity to snag a ride on the all-new Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway opening on March 4th. So, read on if you want to know alllll those nice extension deets.
We previously noticed that there had been an extension in park hours in the morning every day from March 1st to March 14th, and now these hours extend through March 28th! This comes after many of these dates already received a 30 minute hours extension in the evening. SO MUCH MORE STAR WARS TIME.
Every day in March until the 28th has been swapped from a 9 AM opening to an 8 AM opening. This is likely a continued response to crowd levels for Rise of the Resistance as hours have been extended many times this year already.
But the hours changing in March aren’t the only update. Extra Magic Hours in April have changed too! Instead of being morning Extra Magic Hours on Sundays, they’ve swapped to 8:30 PM to 10:30 PM on April 5th, 12th, 19th, and 26th. Hey, that’s an added hour from the usual 8 AM – 9AM!
All in all, we’re just happy for a few more hours in the park next month! We’ll keep an eye out for more hours extensions as we definitely wouldn’t be surprised if there are more to come. In the meantime, get excited about that spare time to hop on Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway!

The switch to late hours on the 19th is no surprise. The half marathon is that morning- probably don’t want it to be open early that day and a zoo.
