If you’re here, you probably know a lot about Disney dining — or are looking to learn more. With hundreds of dining options in the Disney Parks, we are always finding new experiences, unique meals, and culinary adventures that even the most hardcore Disney aficionados may not know about — and we are here to share them with YOU!
Today, we are sharing 10 Disney meals you don’t know about — but you should!
Polynesian Twilight Feast
After a long day in the Walt Disney World Resort theme parks, sometimes you just want to eat all the food, watch all the shows, and hang out in your room in your PJs. But is it possible to do all three at the same time? The answer is YES!
Guests of Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort can enjoy a complete in-room dining experience which is suitable for the entire ‘Ohana.
The Polynesian Twilight Feast may be Walt Disney World’s best-kept $60 secret. This robust feast allows Guests to enjoy the same delicacies featured in ‘Ohana’s dining room — from the comfort of their rooms!
When you order the Polynesian Twilight Feast you will receive pineapple-coconut bread, salad, Spiced Chicken Wings, Asian-style Pot Stickers, Yakisoba Noodles, Stir-fried Vegetables, and ‘Ohana Sunset Punch (POG juice!). All of this deliciousness is followed by skewered meats and oak-grilled shrimp. Finally, it is topped off with ‘Ohana’s famous Bread Pudding.
The Polynesian Twilight Feast is $20.00 for guests 9 and under and $60.00 for Guests 10 and older. That seems rather high, right? Well, I’m happy to report that sharing is entirely possible. This massive serving below is for one person!
This feast brings A LOT of food. When you place your order via In-Room Dining, you specify how many will be enjoying the feast then prepare for the bounty to arrive at your door. Be warned, you might have a LOT of leftovers! 😉
Classic Afternoon Tea at Steakhouse 55
Steakhouse 55 in the Disneyland Hotel is the epitome of “old Hollywood” sophistication — and it offers the perfect setting for traditional European afternoon tea.
The Classic Afternoon Tea at Steakhouse 55 will make you feel like a part of European high society, while still immersing you in the magic, unparalleled service, and beauty of the Disneyland Hotel.
As is the case with any proper afternoon tea, Guests are offered a variety of loose-leaf teas and herbal infusions. The menu also includes traditional scones, tea sandwiches, desserts and more. Guests can purchase wine by the glass, aperitifs, ports, and cordials for an additional charge.
One really fun aspect of the teas here is that they’re alway changing! The Traditional Afternoon Tea is available year-round but special event themed teas have been offered frequently with often over the top themed foods, as we saw at our most recent experience attending the Cinderella Anniversary Tea!
There are three options for Classic Afternoon Tea at Steakhouse 55: Classic ($55), Premium ($70), and Kids ($35). If you have an Annual Pass to Disneyland, lucky for you — discounts apply!
The Premium option includes wine (sign us up!), salad, and a farewell truffle in addition to the teas and traditional afternoon tea goodies.

Dine with an Imagineer
Dine with an Imagineer at The Hollywood Brown Derby or Cítricos is exactly the kind of culinary experience the name implies. Guests 14 and older can enjoy magical mealtime conversations with an Imagineer who helps brings the magic of Disney to life.
Both locations offer a four-course meal (with an extra side of conversation) which will help you see Walt Disney World Resort in a way you’ve never seen it before.
Exclusive merchandise is also available during this experience. This experience costs $89.00 per person plus tax and 18% gratuity at The Hollywood Brown Derby and $97.98 per person at Cítricos. This experience is only offered on select days and books up quickly.
Secret Dining Room in Lamplight Lounge
Did you know that there is a SECRET dining room in Disney California Adventure? Well, let us clue you in on something that’s remained hush-hush in Pixar Pier’s new Lamplight Lounge.
It is simply referred to as ‘THE OFFICE.’
To access The Office, you must figure out how to unlock a vault! It’s as interactive as it is secret.
But not so fast…you can only dine in The Office if it is not already occupied when you arrive. At the present time, reservations are not available for The Office.
The Office can seat up to thirteen Guests, and although it’s called The Office, it doesn’t look like a traditional one. It’s set up as a Pixar office, which is really cool!
The walls are decorated with illustrations of Pixar animators. There are also game boards such as checkers, backgammon, and Parcheesi hanging on the walls — which guests are allowed to use!
The menu inside of The Office is the same as in the main restaurant, but we think it is still worth checking out this top-secret location!
Celebration at the Top — Savor, Sip, and Sparkle
Celebration at the Top in Disney’s Contemporary Resort is an intimate event that celebrates the magic of fireworks and fine dining.
Celebration at the Top is a special event held in the private Sonoma Room and Napa Room of California Grill on select Saturdays and Sundays.
It includes complimentary valet parking, Canapés, sushi, small plates, and libations from the complimentary bar. Guests will find many options for California wines, beers, and cordials.
The event is held during the hour before Happily Ever After, and guests are invited to enjoy the show by stepping out onto a private observation deck reserved just for Celebration at the Top guests.
The price for savoring, sipping, and sparkling in one of Walt Disney World’s best restaurants is $119 per person, plus tax and gratuity.
Private Dining at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort
Even some of the most well-versed Disney foodies don’t know about private dining at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort.
Guests can arrange a private dinner on a 5th-floor balcony of Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort — complete with butler service — which includes a lovely view of Happily Ever After.
The cost is $125 per person plus an 18% service charge and 6.5% sales tax. Butler services incur an additional $100 charge. Your personal butler greets you in the lobby and serves you at your table during the duration of your private dining event. If you think you’ll be dining for more than 2 hours, you can purchase additional butler service hours for $50 per hour.
Guests are given a standard menu to make choices from. If you want food from one of the Resort hotel’s restaurants, you can request that as well.
This experience is definitely a splurge but seems like the perfect choice for a birthday celebration, engagement, or anniversary dinner.
Talking about splurging, let us introduce you to 21 Royal — the dining experience that will cost you $15,000. No, we did not add an extra zero to that number — we truly meant FIFTEEN THOUSAND DOLLARS.
21 Royal in Disneyland Resort is in the space known previously as the Dream Suite. This culinary adventure was created for groups of twelve — essentially making the meal $1250 per person. That’s a lot more palatable, right? Okay, maybe not…
What is included in this 5-hour experience which costs as much as many of our first cars?
Guests receive valet parking at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel, “park hopper” tickets for everyone in the party, and an elaborate seven-course meal. The price tag includes gratuity, tax, wine pairings, and several cocktails.
Disney promises a night of story-telling, imagination stirring, and an unforgettable epicurean adventure. As is expected at this price point, dishes include caviar, wagyu beef, bison, king crab, and other expensive ingredients.
This is truly a once in a lifetime experience that, if you can afford it, you won’t forget! Hmm, college fund or the most magical dinner in the world? The choice is yours…
