With Rise of the Resistance and Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway now OPEN, there are even MORE reasons to spend your morning at Disney’s Hollywood Studios!
We’ve been checking out the Runaway Railway, the all-new Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge breakfast, and a chicken and donut combo we are swooning over, but now there’s even MORE time to enjoy!
We previously reported that Hollywood Studios extended its morning hours until March 28th, but now we know they are adding that extra hour to even more days in March and April.
From now, March 6th, through April 4th, Hollywood Studios will open at 8 AM instead of the previously scheduled 9 AM!
That’s an extra hour to ride Slinky Dog Dash, see Chewbacca, and check out the new breakfast options! With all the new and exciting things happening at Hollywood Studios, we’ve seen seen the park’s hours shift around quite a bit, but we’ll be sure to keep you posted with the latest changes! What will YOU do with your extra hour?

Will you be visiting Hollywood Studios in April? Let us know in the comments!
Will the Skyliner run from Pop Century early enough to get boarding passes or will I need to get a Minnie Van on my April 3rd trip? What has your experience been with this?
We won’t be there until the week AFTER Easter, so we’re thinking that the extended hours are done after Easter due to the diminishing crowds (and perhaps Coronavirus scare??) so at least, we have a fighting chance to get to the park at 9:00 am to maybe get a ROTR Boarding Group??????
@Beth When we went in early Feb, we assumed we could take the Skyliner but it didn’t start running until 8am. We had to scramble and get a Minnie van in order to make it in time.
Beth, you’ll likely want to check with the front desk about bus and Skyliner times when you’re onsite. Skyliner typically does not run much earlier than park opening.
Thanks! We are will only be at Disney for 2 days, so I don’t want to mess this up!
