We seem to be encountering a reoccurring theme a lot throughout Magic Kingdom right now, and we’re not talking about construction like Cinderella Castle’s royal makeover or attractions being unexpectedly closed like the Haunted Mansion was earlier today!
No friends, we’re talking about MISSING TREATS! First, we saw the giant Mickey Celebration Donut vanish without a trace. Then the Arendelle Aqua Cone was the next snack to suddenly go M.I.A., and now, we’re putting out an all-points bulletin for Sleepy Hollow’s Churro Ice Cream Sandwich, because it’s MISSING!
The Churro Ice Cream Sandwich for $6.99 was one of our top value picks when it came to using your Disney Dining Plan snack credits wisely. We’ve pretty much been obsessed with this treat since it made its way over from Disneyland in 2018!
But now Sleepy Hollow is serving an ice cream cookie imposter — albeit a delicious one! They seem to have gone back to their original Cookie Ice Cream Sandwich offering which was one of the standard snacks they had prior to the Ice Cream Churro Sandwich!
We saw a sign for the new (old) Ice Cream Cookie Sandwich at Sleepy Hollow today, but it has yet to appear on the regular menu.
And as you can see, the Churro Ice Cream Sandwich is still listed on Sleepy Hollow’s menu despite being unavailable at this time. We hope that means it’s just gone for now and we might see it return soon!
Don’t get us wrong — the Ice Cream Cookie Sandwich at Sleepy Hollow is still a totally tasty treat and excellent use of your snack credit since it’s also $6.99. It’s just not a super-unique item like the Churro Ice Cream Sandwich was!
Plaza Ice Cream Parlor (which is just steps away from Sleepy Hollow) also serves the Ice Cream Cookie Sandwich, but there’s nothing like the Churro Ice Cream Sandwich anywhere else on property!
We’ll keep an eye on Sleepy Hollow and we’ll let you know if and when we see the Ice Cream Churro Sandwich come back! Stay tuned for future developments!

Nooooo I just had this on my trip a little over a week ago. It was HEAVEN. I hope they bring it back.
Noooooo! This is my must-get treat for my upcoming trip next week! I was planning on getting this first day I’m there on Sunday to eat during Happily Ever After.
It looks like the funnel cake and the fruit waffle are also no longer snack credits! 🙁
I REALLY REALLY HOPE that they will bring it back because I would ABSOLUTELY LOVE to try it in September.
The Churro Ice cream sandwich was a “one and done” for me. The ice cream melted too fast. I had to pull it apart to eat it. I never tried a cookie IC sandwich. Maybe I’ll try that next.
