Earlier today we showed you what Magic Kingdom looks like now that the parks have temporarily closed until the end of March.
But today, many of the Disney Springs shops and restaurants have remained open. Here’s a look at how Disney World’s entertainment district looked today around lunchtime.
With the theme parks now closed and the Disney World resorts shutting down by Friday, travelers are being left with fewer and fewer options right now. Many of Disney Springs’ businesses will close temporarily starting tomorrow — and the list of locations seems to be growing longer by the minute!
At Disney Springs’ AMC Theater, workers were busy taking down their Onward decorations. The movie theater will not be closing but is instead lowering its capacity. They’ll be selling only a select number of seats to enforce “social distancing” and they’re also enhancing their cleaning protocols.

And despite the Disney World parks being empty, parts of Disney Springs felt rather packed!
The mid-day lunch rush seemed to be in full swing over at Blaze Pizza. Most of the tables outside appeared to be occupied.
Meanwhile, there was a line out the door for D-Luxe Burger which is set to close temporarily after this evening.
The food trucks at Disney Springs were pumping out lunch orders including the newest addition to roll over, Hot Diggity Dog!

Disney Springs’ Starbucks locations have already closed, so Joffrey’s was the only place around slangin’ around coffee beans and lots of caffeine today!
As we headed back to the parking garage, more guests were streaming in. We know a lot of them are wrapping up what must’ve been a pretty stressful vacation and we wish them a safe trip home!
In fact, according to how full the parking garage was, it looked like a lot of folks were just trying to get in one last happy memory, be it a cheeseburger or slice of pizza before they hunkered down!
All of the Disney owned and operated locations at Disney Springs are set to close tomorrow and many other locations are following suit. We will continue to keep you posted on which stores and restaurants choose to remain open and which will close temporarily.
