In the days since having to close down, Disney World has regularly been modifying its operating procedures.
MagicBands for Resort Guests
Now Disney World has just released the following information regarding all pending MagicBand orders.
In an official statement given today by Disney, “all MagicBands that have been previously shipped out will still arrive. Any MagicBands you had requested to arrive at your resort between March 20th and March 31st will be canceled automatically. If any of were “upgraded” character MagicBands, you will be given a refund.”

Since Disney World is currently closed, they are unable to process MagicBand orders at this time. They ask that if you have an arrival date scheduled after March 31st but haven’t placed your MagicBand request yet, standby for further instructions.

Hopefully running the Star Wars Half Marathon in April, we arrive in 4/17 for a week.
We have a trip planned the first week of May. Not giving up hope quite yet….. but considering moving it to September. What’s the best (lowest crowd week) in the early fall??!!
Our Magic Bands just arrives yesterday for our trip planned for April 11th. Assuming we cancel and reschedule for a later date what happens to the ones we just received?

What is really annoying about the magic band issue is that I finally saw new bands appear on the website to order…but it won’t let me.
