UPDATE (4/24): Spider-Man 3 will now be released on November 5, 2021. Thor: Love and Thunder will be released on February 11, 2022. Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness will release March 25, 2022.
And, even though we totally miss going to the movie theaters, we’ve got some BIG news about the Disney films coming soon! Many have seen delayed release dates…
Now, Deadline has shared the new release dates for many of these films. Please keep in mind though that this situation is constantly changing, so we could see even more delays for these release dates.
Based on the young adult novel of the same name, Artemis Fowl was originally supposed to come to theaters on May 29th. But, it will be coming to Disney+ instead so you can watch it in your pajamas with your family! Soul will be starting the line-up for the Disney movies coming to theaters, though, with its debut on June 19th.
We’ve been waiting for the live-action Mulan film to bring honor to us all (especially with all that adorable merchandise). But, now it will premiere on July 24th, 2020 in theaters, bumping Jungle Cruise‘s premiere to July 30th, 2021.
After Endgame, we have been recovering from all the feels and waiting for the rest of Marvel’s Phase Four! The film line-up has been moved around so guests can enjoy watching their favorite superheroes on the big screen. Black Widow has been moved to a November 6th, 2020 premiere (taking over the place where the Eternals was originally slated).
Eternals will now debut on February 12th, 2021, moving Shang-Chi to May 7th, 2021 and Doctor Strange 2 to November 5th, 2021. Thor: Love and Thunder will then make its valiant appearance on February 18th, 2022 with Black Panther 2 following on May 8th, 2022 and Captain Marvel 2 on July 8th, 2022.
