We have our DFB Rides and Attractions Throw Down champion!
After six rounds of hard-fought competition, our readers have named a WINNER in our DFB Rides and Attractions Throw Down!
Each Disney World attraction has a special place in our hearts. Which is why we tasked our Instagram followers with making these tough calls! We started with 64 attractions from the Disney World parks. And last night, it came down to the last rides standing — Space Mountain and Flight of Passage!
Both had emerged unscathed from some pretty tough competition by that point. Space Mountain had claimed victory against fan-favorites Pirates of the Caribbean and Seven Dwarfs Mine Train. And Flight of Passage had toppled heavy-hitters Expedition Everest and Tower of Terror.
But in the end, there could only be one winner. And in the final match up, our readers crowned Flight of Passage as the CHAMPION!
Whew, that was a tough call — so shoutout to our Instagram followers for making the difficult decisions for us!
And, of course, a big round of applause for Flight of Passage on its well-deserved victory! Or as the Na’vi would say, “Sivako!”

Do you agree with our winning attraction? Let us know which attraction you would choose in the comments!
No.
I’m offering the same objection I raised to the restaurant popularity contest. My wife and I are seniors in our 70’s. The thrill rides offer no enjoyment for us, but we love the older classic attraction. So, I’d suggest having a survey, by demographic categories, for popular attractions, and then seed several brackets. But those brackets. Those results would be very interesting.
Nope! The Haunted Mansion and Peter Pan 4 EVER !!!

Nope! The Haunted Mansion and Peter Pan 4 EVER !!!”

Well, I can’t argue against the Haunted Mansion as it has been one of our favorites for 50 years.
We brought our gransdsons down a couple of years ago and on the return flight one complained that we didn’t get to do very many rides. I sadly informed him that if we ride Peter Pan 7 times, it reduces the number of OTHER rides we can enjoy in the available time.
The one is Disneyland is WAAAAAAAAY better. I hope they keep it Star Wars themed.
I love Soarin, but how did it beat Rise Of The Resistance? I assume not enough people have had a chance to experience Rise yet as it is hands down the best ride ever!
I do not like the word hate, but I hate Space Mountain. I know there will be those who love it, being thrown all around, beating your knees. Just not for me. As I have gotten older I do not like some ride, crazy how your equilibrium changes. I did ride the winning ride in Jan this year. It was great. Still love Pirates of the Caribbean ♥️
Absolutely Craig, or people were so upset of breakdowns and virtual queue number never getting reached. But like Flight of Passage you suffer through hrs of wait to be rewarded with an amazing ride! Just like restaurants, if you haven’t been there to rate it, you really can’t vote for it. I use Victoria and Alberts as an example, while it may be best meal in Fla, the fact that its above 99% of people’s price point makes it lose out in voting.
Nope. Flight of Passage is one of the FEW rides at Disney that isn’t accessible to all physical abilities and body types. It’s actually a massively disappointing attraction because of this. Literally any other ride would have been a better choice.
