Walt Disney World recently got a few enhancements!
Cinderella Castle has been updated with a fresh coat of rose gold and deep royal blue turrets. The new paint job is in honor of the Magic Kingdom’s 50th anniversary next year. The park also has a fresh new walkway that connects guests staying at Disney’s Grand Floridian to the Magic Kingdom. Both enhancements are now reflected on the Disney World app and website!
Open up the My Disney Experience app or Disney World’s website and head to the Magic Kingdom. This is where you will see a pinkish Cinderella Castle! The new look and walkway are now reflected on the website…
…and on the app!
As a reminder, the castle used to be grey with terrets in a different shade of blue. This is what the map looked like just this morning!
Disney World is preparing for the 50th anniversary with new paint jobs on the parking entrance and Disney World welcome gate. We’ll be following up on all the anniversary updates and more in the coming year!

My daughter is still so disappointed in the new Cinderella Castle colors. “It’s pink, Mom. Tell them to change it back.”
