‘Tis the season… for specialty seasonal offerings all over Walt Disney World! And that’s no less true on Black Spire Outpost — also known as Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge.

Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo

We were very excited to find a mention of a Seasonal Offering newly listed on the online menu for Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo. Spiced Surabat Cider AND a Spiked Spiced Surabat Cider are listed as being up for grabs at this Hollywood Studios Counter Service spot!

But are they really? Here’s what we found out…

Upon arrival at Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo, we tapped into Mobile Order on the My Disney Experience app, since the Docking Bay is one of the locations to offer the dining feature. BUT there was no mention whatsoever of the Spiced Surabat Cider on Mobile Order even though — at press time — it is still showing up on the Walt Disney World website menu.

As you’ll see, Spiced Surabat Cider is a hot apple cider with “notes of hickory smoke and winter spices,” while the Spiked version is served with Maker’s Mark Bourbon. Sound pretty promising, don’t you think?

However, in chatting with a citizen of Batuu (a cast member), we learned that they DID have this specialty drink available for one night… when it got chilly. And the basic rule of thumb is exactly that: the current plan is to serve the Spiced Surabat Cider only on cooler nights as of this moment. (Of course, this could always change, so we’ll be keeping an eye out!)

A chilly night can be kind of hard to come by on a planet with three suns, but they do happen from time to time. So be sure to check Mobile Order (or inquire with those Batuuan citizens) to see if it’s available if you are traveling to the edge of THE GALAXY in these cooler months!

Oh, and don’t worry! Even if this specialty sip isn’t available, the Docking Bay has other delicious drinks in store…
