We spotted some exciting behind-the-scenes action in Magic Kingdom today!
Despite the craziness of this year, we’re still happy we get to look forward to ABC’s Disney Parks holiday special on Christmas Day — filmed right from the parks! Today, we spotted that part of the pathways around Cinderella Castle was blocked off, and it’s for a pretty FUN reason.
The right side pathway that connects Fantasyland to Tomorrowland was blocked off, as was much of the path in front of the castle. No strolling through this part of the Kingdom right now, you’ll run into ropes and even some temporary foliage!
When we got up into Fantasyland, we spotted a few Cast Members stationed to keep guests from walking towards Cinderella’s Wishing Well. Plus, we noticed some workers wearing blue lanyards with the holiday special logo! Eek!
While we can’t confirm who was filming at the time, it sure does look like it has to do with the Holiday Special!
Update! Disney has since tweeted that holiday special filming WAS going on in Magic Kingdom, and you. can get a sneak peek right here!
Tune in December 25th to the @ABCNetwork #DisneyChristmasCelebration to see @TrevorJackson5 perform from @WaltDisneyWorld Resort. Plus, check back tomorrow as we reveal more special guests. pic.twitter.com/5EaOkWKEQw
