If you’ve ever wanted to visit Disney vacation resorts not in the continental United States (we’re talking Aulani, Tokyo Disneyland, Shanghai Disneyland), chances are you know that means one thing…connecting flights.
And, honestly, a LOT goes into planning an Aulani trip or an international Disney park trip, so anything that can make that process a lil bit easier is VERY welcome.
Luckily, hopping from one magical destination to another has just gotten a WHOLE lot easier. Hawaiian Airlines has announced that there will be new nonstop service from Orlando, Florida (MCO), to Honolulu, Hawaii (HNL). Oh yeah, baby! You can go right from Walt Disney World to Aulani, a Disney Resort & Spa! What a dream!
Beginning March 11th, Hawaiian Airlines will offer two weekly nonstop flights between Honolulu and Orlando. According to a press release, flight time is about nine hours, which is just one night’s sleep!
In addition to Aulani and the other wonders of Hawaii, Honolulu is an easy hub to get to Asia from America, which means you can be on your way to Disney’s Asian resorts: Hong Kong Disneyland Resort, Shanghai Disney Resort, and Tokyo Disney Resort!
Oh, just think of all the international eats…
Now, of course, right now there are travel restrictions, requirements, and limitations to Hawaii, Japan, Hong Kong, and China due to the coronavirus pandemic. Aulani also is undergoing a “phased reopening” with limited activities. So if you’re planning on flying from castle to paradise in March, maybe proceed with caution. But it’s never to early to start planning for future vacations!
