Just a couple weeks ago we were at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground checking out its rustic holiday decorations.
Not only does the resort itself get fully decked out, but we’ve also seen some really incredible decorating done by guests! It’s a tradition over at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Campground to extravagantly decorate guests’ campsites and golf carts! We took a trip over to the campsites to see all the personalized decor!
The decorations we find here are typically super impressive and guests really go all-out. It’s awesome seeing all the different options for Disney Christmas decorations out there, too. Campers put up lights, inflatable decorations, plushes, and everything in between! Here you can see two sets of pals — Minnie and Mickey, and Woody and Bullseye!
You can even have a Star Wars Christmas with this R2-D2 inflatable, and his companion, C-3PO on the tree ornament next to him!
Plushes are a fun way to celebrate the holidays, too. Check out all these familiar faces! Plus, an adorable Minnie Mouse stocking hangs from the RV!
This decoration is SUCH a cool one! It’s Hank from Finding Dory! We can only assume he’d much rather be on his way to the Cleveland Aquarium than here at Disney World.
And here’s a current-day Mickey Mouse paying homage to Steamboat Willie!
Have you ever seen a Hitchhiking Santa?! I guess this ghost really did follow someone home when they finished riding Haunted Mansion.
These decorations at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Campground are such a fun way for guests to get involved and show off their Christmas spirit! We love this tradition and can’t wait to check it out again in the years to come.
Have you ever checked out these fun displays at the campground? Tell us in the comments!
