Restaurant and Other News

Trefethen Wine Dinner at Catal in Downtown Disney

Join Catal Restaurant on July 17th at 6:30 p.m. for an exclusive five-course wine pairing dinner. Featuring varietals from the award winning Trefethen Family Vineyard in Napa Valley, this informative tasting will exhibit dishes such as veal cheek tortellini, day boat scallop carpaccio, venison loin, and foie gras tea sandwiches. Experience these gourmet plates paired with pours exhibiting the classic hallmarks of fine wines – richness with elegance, complexity with harmony, and sophistication with approach-ability.

Refurbishments

Polynesian Village Resort’s Tambu Lounge will be closing for renovation after August 3. Anticipated re-opening in early November. Look for two temporary bars to set up during the refurbishment.

Be Our Guest Restaurant in the Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World will be closed for refurbishment August 20-24, 2018. Thanks to DFB Reader James Prier for the heads up.
