We are still trying to find as many holiday snacks as we can in the parks and are happy that quite a few selections have stuck around past Christmas this year!
We’ve been busy trying out all the holiday snacks at Disney World, and new ones keep popping up every day!
And a lot of those snacks are cupcakes, including Wilderness Lodge’s Christmas Cupcake, an eggnog cupcake, and a red velvet wreath cupcake. And so many of these cupcakes are so pretty to look at, but the proof is in the taste — which is why we buy and try them ALL!
When a new holiday drink shows up at Disney World, you can bet we’ll be there to try it!
There’s a slew of AMAZING holiday treats at Disney World right now, including a festive funnel cake, a yummy yule log, and MUCH more! And today, we tried the Jolly Holiday Float over in Disney Springs! [Read more…]
Now that Halloween is over, the holidays are in full swing!
We’ve already seen some decorations popping up in the parks, and now Disney has released a full list of holiday snacks coming to Disney World this season! We are ready to get into the holiday spirit!
Treats, treats, everywhere!
We’re loving the epic food crawls we’re embarking upon on BOTH coasts, with Disneyland, California Adventure Park, and Walt Disney World packed from kiosk to food booth and from counter service to table service with seasonal bites and beverages.
Need help keeping track of the treats? We’ve got handy DFB-exclusive snack checklists for Disneyland and Walt Disney World!
And because it’s Disney, you know some krispy treats had to get in on the action! At Disneyland, we found these aaa-dorable Minnie and Mickey krispies decorated to resemble sweet gingerbread cookies.
We are back with another fun post featuring YOUR Disney Food Pics of the Week! That’s right — this is the post that we turn over to you guys to showcase all of the amazing food photos that you share on the Disney Food Blog Photo Extravaganza!
If you’d like to get in on the fun, head over to Disney Food Blog Photo Extravaganza on Flickr and join the group. We’d love to see even more of your great food shots!
Today, I thought it would be fun to share with you some Holiday Treats that the group has captured on film. Let’s hit it!

Merry Christmas from DFB! It’s the most wonderful time of the year at Walt Disney World… and we’ve got the goodies to prove it!
Just take a look at some of your favorite snack stops around the World! From Magic Kingdom’s Big Top Treats and Main Street’s Confectionary, to Downtown Disney’s Candy Cauldron and Goofy’s Candy Company, to Sweet Spells at Hollywood Studios… signs of the season are everywhere :).
I’m loving these gorgeous Candy Apples, created to look like ornaments!
The merry Mickey and Minnie Candy Apples are back this year, too, as is the Snowman.
Krispy Treats take a festive turn with Santa Hats… and how cute are the glittering marshmallow pom-poms?
Even the pretzel rods and a few of the marshmallow wands have a touch of holiday spirit!
The Cake Pop trend shows no signs of slowing down. Snowmen and Reindeer Cake Pops steal the show this year.
Disney World’s BoardWalk Bakery always delights and surprises guests for the holidays with new treats and fun sweets. We couldn’t wait to see what they’d come up with this season!
Home to the classic Cheesecake Brownie and the new Peanut Butter, Banana, and Candied Bacon Pie, it’s now also home to one of the first standout specialty cupcakes of the holiday season: The Peppermint Cupcake!
It’s hard to say which was more intriguing at first glance… the crème de menthe candy pieces popping out from the top, or the fact that this cupcake totally sparkles!
Let’s take a closer look! [Read more…]
This just in:
more pics of Disney holiday treats! (For those of you who, like me, are living vicariously through these photos, please thank Erin Foster for this set!)
And for those of you who still need your Disney Holiday fix, check out all of our related posts on our Disney Holiday 2009 page; or take a moment to vote in our Holiday Treats Poll coming up after the photos!
Getting started — did you know Disney World has Christmas Candy Corn?! It’s not just for Halloween anymore! (Now all we need is Christmas Disney Peeps!)
And for the chocolate + mint fans out there, here’s some peppermint bark:
Just about to ask about those big ol’ peppermint candy cane trees? Here’s a whole shelf! Does anyone know how you’d actually eat those things?
And here’s a fun Advent Calendar with chocolates to mark the days. (If you buy one now, you’ve already missed a few days so you’ll just have to eat more chocolate…there’s nothing I can do about that…)
Now to wake you up from that sugar shock, here’s some Holiday Cheer Coffee straight from Mickey:
Disney Holiday Treats week continues tomorrow with a special surprise post, but while you’re waiting, you’re welcome to vote in our poll!
