Can you believe it’s been almost a year since we’ve been to Disneyland?
Disneyland Entrance
Luckily, guests have been able to get a taste of Disney magic in California with Downtown Disney and Buena Vista Street open for shopping and dining. While Anaheim officials are pushing for a quicker opening of Disneyland and other large theme parks, Disneyland is doing all they can to keep people involved. Disney California Adventure is even holding an event that will let you into several lands in the park!
Ever thought, you know what would be cute? Sticking a little face on Cinderella Castle! Well, that’s what Jerrod Maruyama is doing!
Jerrod Maruyama is the artist behind the Hipster Mickey line and you might recognize his name from some recent designs we’ve spotted in the parks (like this MagicBand). He’s been bringing us too-cool-for-school Mickey gear — like a Hipster Mickey hat — for a little while now and we spotted a new home collection from the hip artist on our recent visit to Disneyland Resort!
Disneyland might still be closed, but that doesn’t mean we can’t get our Disney snack-on somewhere else!
We decided to head over to B Sweet in Los Angeles to try out some new Disney-inspired treats there. This is one bakery that seems to love Disney desserts as much as we do!
So many of us Disney fans have rooms in our house devoted to the Mouse and everything else Disney. Or ENTIRE houses devoted to Disney. Or we, at least, have lots of Disney stuff spread throughout our homes (guilty!!!).
After all, Disney makes it way too easy to get Disney kitchenware, bedroom gear, and more.
Disneyland might still be closed, but for wistful Californians, that doesn’t mean you can’t still get your Disney dessert fix!
At B Sweet in Los Angeles, they’re serving a menu of incredible sounding Disney-inspired desserts for a limited time, including fun takes on The Grey Stuff and Dole Whip!
Disneyland has been closed for almost a full year now.
While local officials have voted in favor to speed the reopening of large California theme parks, Disney has announced some changes that will affect many of Disneyland’s guests. One of those changes was the cancellation of the Disneyland Annual Passholder program.
Another week has passed and once again it’s been a week with LOTS of big news.
Cinderella Castle
If you’re planning a trip to Disney World, we got quite a few updates this week that you absolutely NEED to know about.
Disneyland has been closed for nearly a year. And last month, Disneyland announced that it would be discontinuing its annual passholder program.
Although Disney promises a new program will take its place, it also renamed its current passholders — those who had active memberships through March 14th, 2020 — as “Legacy Passholders.” The company promised that those passholders would still get certain perks through the program.
After the state of California began distributing COVID-19 vaccinations, Disneyland (which remains closed due to the global health crisis) was chosen as the state’s first mass vaccination site.
As a result, the Toy Story parking lot at Disneyland opened as a vaccination site in January. However, winter storms across the U.S. have created some problems for the vaccination location.
