Disney Springs offers tons of unique dining experiences!
Whether you want to enjoy an upscale chef’s tasting event or dine amongst animatronic gorillas and elephants, there’s a wide range of dining experiences that everyone will enjoy. Now, a special offering is coming to Jaleo in Disney Springs!
The sweetest holiday of the year is coming up quick, and you KNOW we’ve been pre-gaming with Minnie Mouse Ears and ALL the Red Velvet treats!
But since we can’t just eat cake pops and chocolate bars all day long, we’ve been scoping out Disney World restaurants for Valentine’s Day dinners and specials, and lucky for us, Disney Springs is comin’ in HOT with a slew of sweet and savory specials for the holiday!
Around the holidays, there are TONS of new snacks and treats throughout Walt Disney World. And this year, Disney Springs has been serving up quite a few special offerings.
We’ve found desserts like the Red Velvet Yule Log and even an Eggnog Crepe, and now there’s a holiday dessert coming out just in time for Three Kings Day (on January 6th)!
If you want to sample delicious items from some fantastic restaurants around Orlando, including spots in Disney World, at a great value, you’ll definitely want to check out Orlando’s Magical Dining Month.
As part of this special dining month, select restaurants in Orlando create three-course, prix-fixe dinners for just $35 per person! Additionally, $1 from each meal benefits Feed the Need Florida, an organization that helps feed people who have struggled to get access to healthy food during the pandemic. The event was set to end on October 4th, but it has now been extended!
When we found out several third party stores and restaurants would be welcoming guests back on May 20th, we knew Jaleo by Chef José Andrés would not be among them.
The signature restaurant known for its modern Spanish cuisine has remained shuttered since March and shut down right before celebrating its 1-year anniversary at Disney World with a Paella Block Party!
In our efforts to keep you as informed as possible with which Disney Springs restaurants will be reopening on May 20th, we’re also keeping you in the loop with those that are not.
Today, a representative from Jaleo by José Andrés told us they are currently formulating a plan for their tentative reopening which is “still to be determined.”
Recently, we learned Disney Springs would be starting a phased reopening of third party stores and restaurants on May 20th (click here to read more about the announcement).
Disney has shared that these independent operators will be following the guidance of government and health officials while some modifications including limited capacity, shortened hours, and social distancing measures will be in place.
We’ve been looking for all the ways we can support Cast and Crew Members since Disney World has been closed!
Disney has still been doing everything they can to give back their family and those in need. And, while Jaleo has been delivering food to the Orlando community, now they’re extending their latest deal to continue helping their team!
Disney has brought a smile to our face in a lot of ways over the last few weeks. Whether it’s reading us bedtime stories or streaming live on Facebook, Disney performers and celebrities have come into our homes digitally in ways that have brought some joy to these uncertain times. But these aren’t the only ways they’re making us smile.
