Here’s a pretty big thing for us to say: Liberty Tree Tavern has historically been one of our favorite restaurants in all of Disney World.
This understated American restaurant located in Magic Kingdom’s Liberty Square and is teeming with well-thought-out atmosphere. Tasty table-service is hard to find in Magic Kingdom, and the food here is downright delicious. But…we hadn’t visited since before the parks reopened. So, let’s check-in on Liberty Tree Tavern to see if it’s as much of a delight as we remember.
It’s not always easy to grab reservations for many table service restaurants at Walt Disney World, especially in the Magic Kingdom. But it seems that getting that must-want dining experience is starting to become a little easier, thanks to Disney World’s new Walk-Up Waitlist.

And as the feature continues to roll out, even more restaurants are getting added! Recently, we noticed that five new Magic Kingdom restaurants had the mobile dine walk-up waitlist added!
Thinking about spending the day in Disney’s flagship park?
Well, you’ll want to make sure you know what new stuff to look for! We were spending some time in the park mulling over our best ride picks yesterday and we spotted a TON of new updates. Here’s everything new in Magic Kingdom in food, construction, and merchandise!

More recently, though, the spot has provided a Table Service option featuring both an all-you-care-to-enjoy Saloon Feast as well as sandwiches and platters served a la carte. In any case, The Diamond Horseshoe has not been available in this initial reopening phase of the park… which is why we were surprised to see guests dining in there today. [Read more…]
Most restaurants are offering limited menus due to the new re-opening procedures. With that, we noticed a lot of crowd-favorite snacks went missing! We already knew some of these tasty treats wouldn’t be making a reappearance, at least not initially, but the loss became way too real now that we’re back in the parks! [Read more…]
Just recently, Disney has shared with us which Magic Kingdom and Disney’s Animal Kingdom restaurants will be reopening on July 11th as well as which dining locations will be available when Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Epcot resume on July 15th. Disney is offering limited menus at many of the resorts and Disney Springs restaurants for the time being. And, now it looks like the parks are following suit.
