If last year was the year of green Halloween merch at Disney World, then this year is looking to be the Halloween of PURPLE!
The Feeding Ground in Animal Kingdom
We recently told you about the purple poison apple stein that appeared over in Disney Springs, and now they’re showing up in the parks with a few other items, including a purple version of the cauldron popcorn bucket we loved last year!
Fans of the Poison Apple Steins, heads up! A PURPLE apple stein you’ll definitely want to get your hands on has popped up over in Disney Springs!
Poison Apple Slush
While we’ve seen red apple steins for the past few years, and more recently green apple mugs showed up on the scene at both Walt Disney World and Disneyland, this is the first time we’re seeing purple in Disney World! And we know just WHERE you can find it!
The famous Poison Apple has been casting its spell in Disney World and Disneyland over the past several years during Halloween in several forms from Poison Caramel Apples, to Poison Apple glow cubes, to a new Not-So-Poison Apple Cupcake. And this year, you can scare up the latest incarnation in Disney World’s Animal Kingdom: it’s the Green Poison Apple Stein!

Think August is too early for Halloween? Well, not exactly… at least not in Magic Kingdom, where preparations are on for Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party which kicks off on August 25th! Disneyland follows suit on September 20th with Mickey’s Halloween Party.
Someone else is getting ready for Halloween, too… our friend Donna Yan, who creates Cute Food Art featuring iconic Disney snacks! And she JUST came out with three prints for the most ghoulish time of the year! Just look at all the details on the Mickey Beignets and Mint Julep — Halloween Version print (Hello, Zero!). That Maleficent krispy treat is epic. And see the spiderweb detail on the Mickey balloon, just like they have in the parks during the Halloween season??
The Poison Apple Mug with Grapes is full to overflowing with grapes all decked out in their costumes, including a teeny tiny Haunted Mansion Cast Member. [Read more…]

I had a BLAST running around Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party a couple of weeks ago! I hadn’t been in a few years, and it was so much fun to get back there (even though it was raining!).
I always love the festive atmosphere that transforms the not-so-spooky Magic Kingdom. [Read more…]
Halloween Time has arrived at the Disneyland Resort and I’m pretty sure I’ve found my favorite new item of the season! The Poison Apple Mug. Everything about it is awesome.
The mug is a stein type of style. The little button on the handle flips up the lid. Although the stem looks like it would be a straw, it is not. It’s just part of the decor. [Read more…]
