We had a very busy day in Disney World today!
It was certainly a gloomy day, but we made the most of it by visiting Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Disney’s Animal Kingdom, and Animal Kingdom Lodge! We’re bringing you along with us for our trip allll around Disney World today.
Headed to Orlando this coming week to enjoy some of your favorite attractions and snacks (and maybe a taste of EPCOT’s Festival of the Holidays)?

Well, one thing you’ll want to be aware of and plan for is the weather! And, while Florida is typically VERY warm for most of the year, things are actually looking a bit different for this next week. It seems Elsa is brining just a touch of winter weather to the Sunshine State!
Rain or shine, it’s always a wonderful day for a stroll around Magic Kingdom!
Today we’re walking around this magical theme park to see what’s new! We’ve got holiday jewelry from Baublebar, Haunted Mansion shirts, and even a Rainy Day Holiday Cavalcade — come along with us on a virtual trip around Magic Kingdom!
Last week, the holiday season OFFICIALLY arrived in Walt Disney World, bringing over-the-top decorations, delicious specialty treats, and lots of new merchandise.
One of our favorite things this year, though, has got to be the Christmas cavalcades! Seeing Mickey, Goofy, the toy soldiers, and even Santa Claus decked out in their festive best made our hearts grow three sizes! (Christmas tends to have that effect on people, just ask the Grinch.) But we all know that it rains A LOT in Florida, which calls for rainy day holiday cavalcades!!
We absolutely LOVE Disney World’s character cavalcades, way more than we ever thought we would!
We’ve even enjoyed the Rainy Day Cavalcades, which usually involve characters riding on the Magic Kingdom double-decker buses rather than on floats.
With all the new Halloween character cavalcades in Disney World kicking off this week, we’ve returned to the parks time and time again to catch a glimpse of our favorite ‘Halloween’ characters! But on our most recent trip, Mother Nature had other plans, which meant we got to check out what happens when it RAINS on the Halloween cavalcades!
While the weather in Disney World doesn’t always tend to cooperate with us, rainy days can lead to extra bits of magic you perhaps weren’t expecting! And like we always say, a rainy day at Disney World is better than a sunny day anywhere else! While Disney tends to have a Rainy Day Cavalcade ready to go in the case of inclement weather, we got to see what its “spooky” counterpart looks like today!
We’ve been hard at work scoping out all the news for you this week. Today we have all the details on the latest in the Disney World theme parks and MORE!
See all of our coverage on Disney park reopenings HERE. We still have a LOT to share with you this week, so let’s jump right in… .
Florida weather is notoriously finicky. Thunderstorms and rain can happy at any time, even at Disney World, but that doesn’t mean an end to the fun!
In fact, a rainy day at Disney World can be one of the best times ever! Not only does the rain occasionally clear out crowds from the parks, but it also brings its own fun events, like the Rainy Day Cavalcades!
It’s been a soggy day at Magic Kingdom! But those gray clouds haven’t put a damper on the fun!
A little rain isn’t going to keep the Disney Princesses away! Although they couldn’t come out on horseback or wave to us from their majestic and MASSIVE castle float today, they came up with a creative way to greet the fans while staying nice and dry!
