We have more refurbishment news to share with you!
We’ve received loads of refurbishment announcements over the last few days! But as a recently redone dining location reopens, another one will be closing.
We’ve got even more news about a new feature on the My Disney Experience app for Walt Disney World guests: the Mobile Dine Walk-up Waitlist!
This feature allows guests to view Table Service restaurants that have available seating for walk-up guests with just a tap on their phone. The list of restaurants utilizing the feature continues to expand (almost daily!), and today there are FIVE more restaurants on the Mobile Dine Walk-up Waitlist that we want to share with you. Yeah, it’s pumpkin season, you guys! But, do you know what we’re looking forward to? A good ole Thanksgiving pumpkin pie to share with friends and family!
And, in Disney World, Thanksgiving is just around the corner with the release of these holiday menus coming to the parks and resorts on November 28th!
While it’s Halloween time currently in Disney World, we’re already daydreaming about what this year’s Thanksgiving dinner is going to be like.
Buuut, we don’t have to daydream anymore, because a new Thanksgiving menu has popped up in Epcot!
This year marks your last chance to see Epcot’s current nighttime spectacular, IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth. The show will end its run before the end of the summer of 2019 to make way for a brand new spectacular.
And now, a new Dining Package will soon be open for booking offering a meal with seating on the patio of The Rose & Crown Pub and Dining Room in Epcot’s UK Pavilion from which to enjoy a fantastic view of IllumiNations along with a prix fixe menu of Rose & Crown favorites AND unlimited alcoholic (for guests 21 and over) and non-alcoholic beverages! What’s better than a home cooked holiday meal? A holiday meal at Walt Disney World!
Nearly every restaurant in Disney World features a turkey-based or holiday meal on Thanksgiving and Christmas days. But Disney features special holiday meals at select restaurants throughout Walt Disney World on these holidays every year as well. Disney just announced this year’s list of participating restaurants, so let’s take a look!
For many, Walt Disney World dining is a central part of the vacation experience, and you know we’re right there with you! And over many, many (did we mention many?) table service meals, we’ve scoped out some of the finest real estate in Disney World restaurants. These are seats that give you a little somethin’ somethin’ — like a view of something spectacular or proximity to the little details. Fireworks view, anyone?
There is nothing more British than a cuppa tea. And now you can have a cuppa at Epcot’s local pub – Rose and Crown! But this isn’t your regular tea – it’s an “experience”!
The Rose and Crown has launched a new “Tea Experience” where you’ll not only sip tea, but you’ll munch on scones and sandwiches while learning about tea from a Twinings-trained Cast Member. [Read more…]

Rose & Crown Pub and Dining Room
is a favorite of many Walt Disney World guests — and it’s easy to see why.
The charm of this table service restaurant is apparent from the curb, as the facades of the United Kingdom in Epcot’s World Showcase blend from one architectural era to the next. And inside the doors? The charm continues.
But all the charm in the world doesn’t mean a thing if the food isn’t good — and here, it’s good. Almost across the board, we’ve enjoyed our visits to Rose & Crown, no matter whether we dined in the Dining Room or in the Rose & Crown Pub that’s adjacent to the restaurant proper.
On our last visit, we tried a Battered Bangers and Mash dish in the pub, but on this most recent visit, we were in the mood for the Dining Room — and those entrees!
Rose & Crown impresses from the jump, with the exteriors heavy and classic. We love the dark green window casings of the Rose & Crown Pub.
