The Simba Pretzel made a triumphant return to Disney’s Animal Kingdom in August, after having been unavailable for a few weeks upon the park’s initial reopening. But then…

While we made our way to Expedition Everest to say hello to our old pal Disco Yeti, we found a bit of a pleasant surprise in the park. Although Thirsty River Bar and Trek Snacks has been half closed since the parks reopened (Trek Snacks has been open, but Thirsy River Bar has been closed), it had a random re-opening today for guests!
He must’ve been busy for a little while, “brushin’ up on looking down, and workin’ on” his ROAR…

Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom kicked off their grand re-opening last weekend! We were in the parks staking out what was new and missing from our favorite theme parks.

Most restaurants are offering limited menus due to the new re-opening procedures. With that, we noticed a lot of crowd-favorite snacks went missing!
