The Swan and Dolphin Resorts at Disney World will be hosting specialty food and beverage events beginning this month!
Plus, the Dolphin Resort is also shaking things up with some menu changes at one of its signature restaurants, Todd English’s bluezoo. Let’s check them out!
This fall is going to be a great time to visit the Walt Disney World Resort with Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge AND the 2019 Epcot Food and Wine Festival both opening on August 29! And, a couple of months later the 2019 Swan and Dolphin Food and Wine Classic takes place November 8 and November 9, and then it’s the official start of winter holiday season later in November!
And if you want to stay right in the middle of the action this fall (or any time of year), the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin are two hotels that should be on your list of places to stay!
Located just a stone’s throw from Hollywood Studios and Epcot, the Swan and Dolphin are sometimes an overlooked hotel choice but they offer convenient access to the all the new and exiting things happening at Epcot and Hollywood Studios this fall and beyond.

We have some exciting news about upcoming Fall events at Walt Disney World!
The Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resort has announced the dates, menus, and seminars for the 10th Annual Food and Wine Classic. Mark your calendars for Friday, November 8, and Saturday, November 9, 2019!
The Food and Wine Classic also coincides with the 2019 Epcot Food and Wine Festival. And once again, the Food and Wine Classic will include both Seminars and The Causeway.
Want to know what else you can expect at the 2019 Food and Wine Classic? Here’s a run down!
The central attraction of the Classic is the more than 40 tasting stations featuring dishes from the resort’s 17 restaurants and lounges as well as more than 30 wineries on the Causeway. Check out the Menus page for an idea of what you can expect!
This year’s menu features returning favorites including Dynamite Rock Shrimp, Late Season Zellwood Corn, Wasabi Foam, Matsutake & Japanese Eggplant, Crispy Lotus Root from bluezoo, and Shake & Bake Style Southern Fried Chicken, Black-Eyed Pea Puree, White Cheddar Fondue, Bacon Infused Roast Garlic Gravy from Picabu.
New items for 2109 include George’s Bank Sea Scallops, Wild Chanterelle, Cashew Romaesco, Navel Orange Beurre Blanc from Garden Grove and Brown Butter Poached Maine Lobster on a Toasted Brioche Bun with Lemon Aioli and Frisee from bluezoo. [Read more…]

Visit Orlando’s Magical Dining Month is returning once again for September 2018! Sponsored by Visit Orlando, this annual event begins with a preview week starting August 24th and runs through September 30th. Magical Dining offers Orlando locals and guests the chance to enjoy the Orlando culinary scene at a significant savings: $35 for three courses at participating area restaurants. Over 100 restaurants will be offering the prix fixe dinners, which include appetizer, entree, and dessert.
In keeping with tradition, one dollar from each meal goes to support local charities. Best Buddies and Down Syndrome Association of Central Florida are the two charities for 2018.

As in previous years, several Disney World restaurants are participating! New additions for 2018 are Terralina Crafted Italian and Wine Bar George.
Okay, so here’s the thing about Bloody Marys: you either love ‘em, or you hate ‘em. No matter which camp you fall in, though, you still might want to take a gander at the incredible “Proud Marys” they are serving up for Sunday Brunch at Phins, the Dolphin Hotel’s brand new lobby bar because this stuff is surrious.
Available on Sundays from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM as part of Phins Sunday Sips, these over-the-top cocktails — also called “Brunch in a Glass” for obvious reasons — are tributes to four of the Swan and Dolphin restaurants.

For the eleventh straight year, Visit Orlando is sponsoring Orlando Magical Dining Month. The event kicks off with a preview week on Monday, August 29, and runs through Sunday, October 2, offering guests and residents of the Orlando area five full weeks to enjoy special savings, all while doing good. Earlier this week, we had the chance to check out a sneak preview of some of the wonderful offerings at the 2015 Walt Disney Swan and Dolphin Food and Wine Classic.
The Swan and Dolphin Resorts’ companion event to the 2015 Epcot Food and Wine Festival kicks off TONIGHT! And if you haven’t gotten your tickets already, no worries — you can purchase them at the Will Call Table.
The Food and Wine Classic consists of two different offerings. You can attend informative seminars, where you can learn about everything from Cheese Pairings and Pasta Making to Wine Blending and how to make the perfect Caipirinha!
But there’s also the Causeway Grandtasting. Set up between the two resorts, the Causeway offers tasting-size portions of special dishes that represent all of the resort’s restaurants. There are also additional areas highlighting the diverse talents of the Swan and Dolphin Culinary Team.
I have plenty of new stuff to share with you, and there are some great food and drinks returning. Let’s take a look around at what the Swan and Dolphin Food and Wine Classic has to offer this year!
Carnival Corner
will be a brand new addition to this year’s Food and Wine Classic! The area, inspired by sweets and treats from childhood, will showcase the Swan and Dolphin Food Trucks/Trailers.
