Caramel Popcorn at Epcot’s Karamell-Kuche

We especially miss one of our favorite stomping grounds, Karamell-Küche, with all its AMAZING caramel treats. Its name literally means “caramel kitchen,” so they know their stuff!

If you’ve never wandered over to the sweet shop in the Germany Pavilion, Karamell-Küche is home to fudge, brownies, cookies, apples, and basically ANY other treat you can imagine, covered with lots and lots of Werther’s Original Caramel.

How You Can Still Get Your Favorite Disney Snacks While The Parks Are Closed

Here at DFB our thoughts are with all who have been affected. While the parks are closed, we will continue reporting and writing articles our readers will need and use once the parks reopen. Thank you for your support.

What we wouldn’t give right now to have some corn dog nuggets or a bag of Mickey beignets! We aren’t gonna lie, Disney snack withdrawals are hitting us hard right now. So much so that we’ve been hosting an entire ‘March Madness’ tournament to let some of our favorite snacks duke it out for the ultimate snack prize.

In addition to being able to re-create some of our favorite Disney snacks at home, we’ve discovered a few places that actually sell some snacks that sure taste like the real thing! Next time you’re out making your weekly grocery trip, check to see if you can grab some of these items! Then listen to some theme park music while you munch on these yummy treats, close your eyes, and maybe it’ll feel like you’re back in the parks!

Let’s face it: sometimes it’s just nice to bring a little bit of Disney home with you to help you get over those post-Disney blues! And if you have a handful of Disney Dining Plan snack credits left over at the end of your Disney World trip or you’ve got friends and family you’d like to surprise with a treat, Disney foods make some terrific souvenirs!

Here are my top five favorite snacks to bring home from the parks!

This delicious snack is downright heavenly. Ever since Karamell Küche opened in the Fall of 2010, it’s been a must-stop location for me every time I’m in Epcot — even if my only reason for being there is to smell the gorgeous smells coming from those candy kitchens!
